The Finnish broadcaster YLE has unveiled the seven countries that will make up the International jury for this weekend’s UMK Eurovision selection competition. In a change to the format, these juries will only make up 25% of the overall scores with a majority 75% coming from the viewers at home.
The seven jury countries are:
- The Netherlands
- Iceland
- United Kingdom
- Poland
- Switzerland
- Spain
- United States
It is interesting to note the inclusion of a United States jury, although individual US jury members have taken part before (such as in Eesti Laul in 2019), we believe this is the first time a named “United States” jury will take part in a Eurovision selection show.
The final of UMK 2021 takes place this Saturday evening on YLE, the acts taking part in order are:
- Teflon Brothers x Pandora – I Love You.
- Aksel – Hurt.
- Laura – Play.
- Danny – Sinä päivänä kun kaikki rakastaa mua (The day when everyone loves me)
- Oskr – Lie.
- Blind Channel – Dark Side.
- Ilta – Kelle mä soitan
