Looking back, I am very proud of what Susan and the entire team have achieved at our debut. In our first year, we “did everything ourselves” in an extremely short time, from finding the candidate to producing the music video for the show with KiKA and ZDF – and that despite various obstacles, Covid 19 pandemic being one of the biggest we did a great job. Of course we would have liked a better placement, but with the programs that we produced for KiKA and Das Erste in the week before the show, we were very successful in terms of both content and reach. Now we have learned a lot and are looking forward to Paris!
Ulrike Ziesemer (German Head of Delegation JESC)

Germany organised a pre-selection where 70 young artists took part and they choose Susan with “Stronger With You” to be their representative at their debut, she received 66 points and ended on last, 12th place. You can listen to the song below.
