IMERIKA Won The Fifth Semi-Final Of Melodi Grand Prix 2021!

The qualifier from the fifth semi final and the 11th finalist of Melodi Grand Prix 2021 is  IMERIKA with the song “I Can’t Escape ”!

In the first part of the show, TuVeia and RIVER faced-off in the first duel, after the public votes RIVER advanced to the gold duel. In the second duel,  Ane.Fin and IMERIKA were the ones which performed their song for the place in the gold duel and  IMERIKA won the opportunity to perform the song once again.

In the gold duel there were  RIVER and  IMERIKA who were competing for the ticket to the final and after receiving most audience votes IMERIKA was the one who advanced through to the Final, scheduled for next Saturday 20th February.

The final line up of Melodi Grand Prix 2021 is almost complete and it includes:

TIX – “Ut Av Mørket”
Atle Pettersen – “World On Fire”
Stavangerkameratene – “Who I Am”
Kaja Rode – “Feel Again”
Rein Alexander – “Eyes Wide Open”
KeiiNO – “Monument”
Blåsemafian – “Let Loose”
Raylee – “Hero”
Emmy – “Witch Woods ” 
KIIM – “My Lonely Voice”

And the finalist who performed his entry in this semi-final was Rein Alexander with “Eyes Wide Open” you can watch his performance below.

The three acts which lost in the Semi-final are still in the race for Melodi Grand Prix final as one of the 15 non qualifiers will get a wild card and that will be decided through a special second chance round scheduled for 15th of February.
