Ahead of EMA 2021, which will be  the special TV show, organized by Slovenian national broadcaster, RTV Slovenija, on February 27th at 8 PM, where Ana Soklič will perform her Eurovision entry, RTV Slovenija revealed a new detail about this year’s Slovenian Eurovision entry – according to official Facebook page of EMA – Slovenian Eurovision National selection – it’s Karin Zemljič, who’ll support Ana Soklič on her Eurovision 2021 journey.

Karin Zemljič isn’t an unknown name in the Eurovision family – she was there for a first time in 2015, in Vienna, where she accompanied Maraaya with ‘Here For You‘.

Karin came back a year later as well, where she was providing some backing vocals for ManuElla and her Eurovision entry ‘Blue and Red‘. Let’s remember the 2016 Slovenian Eurovision entry again:

The most recent Eurovision experience is definitely the one in 2018, when she travelled to Lisbon, to support Lea Sirk and her Eurovision entry, Hvala, ne! 

Karin Zemljič (as part of band Okustični) also tried to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2019, with a beautiful ballad Metulji plešejo, which shortly became a huge radio hit on several radio stations in Slovenia.
