Listen to the Cypriot entry for Rotterdam “El Diablo”!

With less than three months left till Rotterdam and after months of speculations, Cyprus revealed today their entry for this year’s contest. Elena Tsagrinou will be singing “El Diablo” (Spanish for “The devil”) on stage in Rotterdam in mid-May.

Elena herself is a newcomer this year as Cyprus decided to choose a new singer for this year’s edition whilst various other participating countries decided to keep the singers they have selected in 2020. She was chosen internally and was announced as the Cypriot representative in November  2020.

Elena is well known for Greek and Cypriot fans as she was a part of the band OtherView till 2018. The band had numerous hits and won multiple awards. Since 2018 Elena performed as a solo artist and has released numerous tracks and performed in some of the most popular clubs alongside other popular Greek artists such as Demy and Tamta.

Cyprus will be competing in the first Semi-Final which will take place oh the 18th of May. Marvin Dietmann will be responsible of the staging for Rotterdam.
