Melodifestivalen 2021: We have first Melfest finalists of the year!

The first semi-final of Melodifestivalen is behind us and it is definitely the one we have never seen before – due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, all shows of this edition will take place in the Annexet in Stockholm, and without an audience. Tonight’s hosts, Christer Björkman and Lena Philipsson, guided us through seven songs tonight, let’s quickly remind ourselves, which contestants were on stage tonight:

  1. Kadiatou – One Touch
  2. Lillasyster – Pretender
  3. Jessica Andersson – Horizon
  4. Paul Rey – The Missing Piece
  5. Arvingarna – Tänker inte alls gå hem
  6. Nathalie Brydolf – Fingerprints
  7. Danny Saucedo – Dandi dansa

The Heat 1 had two rounds, five of them made it to the second round: Lillasyster, Jessica Andersson, Paul Rey, Arvingarna and Danny Saucedo.

First heat of Melodifestivalen 2021 also got its first finalists, who went “direkt till final” evening, which will be taking place on March 13th, in Annexet, Stockholm:

  • Danny Saucedo
  • Arvingarna

Another two acts were announced to find their luck in Andra Chansen (March 6th – a week before final):

  • Paul Rey
  • Lillasyster
