Tijana Dapčević releases a new song!

Happy Birthday Tijana!

Tijana Dapčević known just as Tijana is a professor of cello, singer and 9 years older sister of Tamara Todevska.She is born in Skopje on 3rd of February 1976 and today she celebrates her 45th birthday with the release of her new song “Slepa Ljubav” (Blind Love). Tijana has been among the artists which competed at national selection to represent North Macedonia on several occasions before finally being internally selected to represent the country in 2014 with the song “To The Sky”. Her first attempt to represent North Macedonia was back at their debut at Eurovision in 1996 with the song “Ti prostuvam” (I forgive you) where she ended on 3rd place with 223 points.  The second time Tijana tried her chance was in 2002 with the song “Izgrev” (Sunrise) reaching 4th place with 177 points. In November 2004 she and her sister Tamara were both among the five artists which were in the race to be selected for the representative of North Macedonia at Eurovision 2005 but the two of them didn’t enter the final stage. In 2006, Tijana took part at Beovizija 2006 the semi-final to the national selection of Serbia & Montenegro for Eurovision 2006 with song “Greh” (Sin). She finished on 4th place and advanced to the final which was Evropesma/Europjesma where she ended the contest on 8th place. You can watch her performance of it HERE!
