Vesna Pisarović to be a special guest in this year’s Dora!
Croatia’s national broadcaster HRT has just announced that one time winner, four time participant, and one time host of Dora – Vesna Pisarović, is going to be a special guest in this year’s event.
Vesna Pisarović took part in Dora a total of four times – three times in a row from 2000 until 2002, which is when she won this Contest, and went on to represent Croatia in Eurovision in Riga, and she came back once again three years later, in 2005. In between, she also composed the 2004 entry of Bosnia & Herzegovina – “In The Disco” by Deen. She came back to Dora once again in 2006, but she was one of the hosts.
In this year’s edition of Dora, Vesna is going to be a special guest, thus viewers will be able to enjoy some of her biggest hits, as well as her Eurovision entry, after all participating songs in this year’s contest will have been performed.
HRT released one minute clips of each of the 14 participating songs. You can still let us know which ones are your personal favorites, as you can vote for up to five songs in our poll right here:
Vesna Pisarović won the 2002 edition of Dora with “Sasvim sigurna”, which was later translated into English for Eurovision. In Eurovision, “Everything I Want” finished in 11th place.
