After winning the Australian national selection in 2020, and the cancellation of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, the Australian national broadcaster SBS has decided that Montaigne should get her time on the Eurovision stage, and represent her country this year in Rotterdam.

Montaigne’s song for this year was selected internally, and she will be singing “Technicolour” in Eurovision 2021, which is written by Jessica Cerro and Dave Hammer.  She performed her Eurovision song live for the first time last week, at Sydney’s Mardi Gras.
