On March 9th, EBU has released, on their official Youtube channel, the Belarusian entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.  Several seconds ago, statement from the EBU was published on Twitter:

The Belarusian national broadcaster is given two options – to modify their song (meaning that the band will need to change the lyrics and the meaning of the song), or select a completely different song with lyrics that would be according to the rules of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Could this mean that Belarus will eventually be disqualified from this year’s Contest? Do you think Belarus will change the song, the act, or just simply withdraw? We will see that in the following days, so stay tuned, as we’ll be informing you about it as soon as we get additional information.
