It’s The Black Mamba for Portugal!

Tonight it was time for Portugal to choose their entry to Rotterdam, when the final of Festival Da Cancao 2021 took place. There were 10 contestants competing for the victory in tonight’s show:

  6. NEEV Dancing in the Stars

  9. EU.CLIDESVOLTE-FACE
  10. The Black MambaLove Is on My Side

The winner was decided by 50/50 combination of votes from seven regional juries and votes of the Portuguese public. After the jury votes the score was the following:

  1. Carolina DeslandesPor um triz, 67 points
  2. The Black MambaLove Is on My Side, 63 points
  3. Sara AfonsoContramão, 55 points
  4. EU.CLIDESVOLTE-FACE, 47 points
  5. Joana AlegreJoana do mar, 44 points
  6. NEEV Dancing in the Stars, 38 points
  7. Karetus & Romeu BairosSaudade, 29 points
  8. ValériaNa mais profunda saudade, 28 points
  9. Fábia MaiaDia lindo, 19 points
  10. Pedro GonçalvesNão vou ficar, 16 points

When the public votes were added to the jury votes, the final order of the songs was the following:

So after all the votes were counted, it was The Black Mamba who won the contest with their song Love Is On My Side, and they will represent Portugal in Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam in May. Congratulations to the winner! You can listen to the winning song here:
