Tonight it was time for Portugal to choose their entry to Rotterdam, when the final of Festival Da Cancao 2021 took place. There were 10 contestants competing for the victory in tonight’s show:

1. Karetus & Romeu Bairos – Saudade
2. Joana Alegre – Joana do mar
3. Fábia Maia – Dia lindo
4. Valéria – Na mais profunda saudade
5. Carolina Deslandes – Por um triz
6. NEEV – Dancing in the Stars
7. Pedro Gonçalves – Não vou ficar
8. Sara Afonso – Contramão
9. EU.CLIDES – VOLTE-FACE
10. The Black Mamba – Love Is on My Side

The winner was decided by 50/50 combination of votes from seven regional juries and votes of the Portuguese public. After the jury votes the score was the following:

1. Carolina Deslandes – Por um triz, 67 points
2. The Black Mamba – Love Is on My Side, 63 points
3. Sara Afonso – Contramão, 55 points
4. EU.CLIDES – VOLTE-FACE, 47 points
5. Joana Alegre – Joana do mar, 44 points
6. NEEV – Dancing in the Stars, 38 points
7. Karetus & Romeu Bairos – Saudade, 29 points
8. Valéria – Na mais profunda saudade, 28 points
9. Fábia Maia – Dia lindo, 19 points
10. Pedro Gonçalves – Não vou ficar, 16 points

When the public votes were added to the jury votes, the final order of the songs was the following:

1. The Black Mamba – Love Is on My Side

So after all the votes were counted, it was The Black Mamba who won the contest with their song Love Is On My Side, and they will represent Portugal in Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam in May. Congratulations to the winner! You can listen to the winning song here:
