Today KiKa, the broadcaster in charge of German participation in Junior Eurovision, published some news about it’s selection process for next year’s edition.
KiKa revealed that both the singer and the entry would be selected this Summer, most probably through their “Dein Song” programme. But that’s not all that was revealed today.
Auch 2021 wird Deutschland am Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Frankreich teilnehmen. Im Sommer soll über Song und Sänger in abgestimmt werden. Das große Finale am 28. November seht ihr wieder live bei KiKA.
The broadcaster also declared that Junior Eurovision 2021 would take place on November 28th!
So far, this piece of news was not confirmed, neither by the EBU not by France Télévisions, but this date seems rather relevant.
Next edition of Junior Eurovision will take place in France, but the host city and the venue are still unknown, even thoughthe name of Lille seems to be topping the list of possible host cities.
France won the right to host the show after Valentina’s victory in Warsaw, last November, with her song “J’Imagine”.
