Natalia Gordienko, who was supposed to represent Moldova at the canceled Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song “Prison”, was officially announced as the Moldavian artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in late January.

In February 2021, we found out that her Eurovision song is going to be called “Sugar” and that it will be released on March 4th.

However, on her social media accounts, Natalia released a snippet of “Sugar” already today, which is showing a lot of bright colors, a crazy dance routine and seems promising of a catchy beat.

The song was written by the same team as her planned Eurovision entry in 2020, with one of the authors being Philipp Kirkorov, who has written many Eurovision entries in the past and represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1995.

Natalia will perform “Sugar” on the Eurovision stage at the second semi-final on May 20th.
