The final of Melodifestivalen 2021 was followed by 3.6 million viewers!

The final of Melodifestivalen 2021 took place last Saturday and 19-years old, Tusse was crowned as winner with the song “Voices”. The show broke several viewing rate records being more watched show that the one from 2013 as 3.6 million people watched the broadcast of the final evening and in addition to that the share was 81.1% each episode of the show had around 3 million viewers.

In addition to that a total of 16.752.439 votes were cast from 1.1 million unique viewers. Even though some of the artists got more votes the points were awarded by the rankings of the votes in each of the 8 voting categories. The full list based on the total number of votes is as follows:

1. Tusse – “Voices”, 2.964.269 votes – 96 points (12 from each age group)
2. The Mamas – “In the Middle”, 1.646.198 votes – 56 points
3. Dotter – “Little Tot”, 1.488.599 stemmer – 48 points
4. Eric Saade – “Every Minute”, 1.471.324 stemmer – 49 points
5. Clara Klingenström – “Behöver inte dig i dag”, 1.455.605 stemmer – 52 points
6. Klara Hammarström – “Beat of Broken Hearts”, 1.341.566 stemmer – 36 points
7. Danny Saucedo – “Dandi Dansa”, 1.309.741 stemmer – 35 points
8. Alvaro Estrella – “Baila Baila”, 1.071.188 stemmer – 19 points
9. Anton Ewald – “New Religion”, 1.066.340 stemmer – 16 points
10. Charlotte Perrelli – “Still Young”, 1.016.557 stemmer – 28 points
11. Paul Rey – “The Missing Piece”, 998.030 stemmer – 7 points
12. Arvingarna – “Tänkar inte alls gå hem”, 923.022 stemmer – 22 points

After the combined results of both jury and audience votes were revealed Tusse got total score of 175 points and with 57 points ahead of Eric Saade he won Melodifestivalen 2021 with the song “Voices”. You can watch his performance below
