The EBU have announced that, next to the three live shows of Eurovision 2021, we’re also getting two new online shows! This way, the EBU are really living up to former Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand’s words that, this year, the Eurovision Song Contest will be returning stronger than ever!

Here you can hear all about what they have in store for us:

The first show is called Krista Calling, where the jolly Krista Siegfrids, former Finnish representative (2013) and huge Eurovision fan will give us all the ins and outs while Eurovision is in Rotterdam. We’ll see her from the Red Carpet to the Rotterdam Ahoy venue, bringing to us all that happens backstage!

Then, as you know, as a security measure, in case one or several artists can’t make it to Rotterdam, they will have recorded their Live-On-Tape performance. To honour all the hard work into that, the EBU will do something similar to when they played all of last year’s entries on the day the 2020 semi-finals would’ve taken place, and this year show us those recordings! This will be appropriately called Eurovision Song Celebration: Live-On-Tape!
