Vasil releases a teaser for ‘Here I Stand’!
Vasil Garvanliev is treating us to more and more information about his Eurovision entry!
We already know it will be called ‘Here I Stand’ and that it rose out of the rubble the year 2020 has caused, this is what Vasil said about it earlier:
•
In the middle of the chaos and whirlwind of disappointments last year, I wrote “Here I Stand” in one breath without any specific aim or focus.
•
I think it rose out of one of those special and rare moments in life when you are at one with yourself: able to let emotions flow in their purest form without self judgment, freely and sincerely..
•
I am deeply honored that I will have the opportunity to represent Macedonia at Eurovision with a song inspired by my personal journey. They say that every human being carries at least one song within themselves. “Here I Stand” is that song for me. I can hardly wait to perform it for you on the Eurovision stage!
•
And yesterday, we could report on more information surrounding the entry.
It was, as mentioned, written by Vasil himself but Davor Jordanovski and Borče Kuzmanovski are responsible for the arrangement.
FAME’s – Macedonian Symphonic Orchestra were there with Vasil, to his great honour, to record ‘Here I Stand’!
When it comes to the show itself at the Eurovision Song Contest, Vasil will get help from Tine Matulessy!
The Swedish choreographer and stage director is a well-known face within Melodifestivalen and Eurovision circles. You could’ve spotted her as one of Malena Ernman’s backing singers in 2009 and last year she was responsible for the staging of jury winner Tamara Todevska! Not changing a winning team, Vasil will now be working with her again!
Now it’s time to listen to a first snippet of ‘Here I Stand’:
The full song will be released on Thursday, the 11th of March!
