Victoria will sing “Growing Up Is Getting Old” in Eurovision 2021 for Bulgaria!

Bulgaria’s entrant for the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, Victoria, held “A Little Dramatic” concert tonight on her Youtube channel, where she revealed which of the previosly released six songs she will be singing in Rotterdam this coming May. Victoria consulted with the Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT, her team, as well as Eurovision fans from around the world, and she has decided that her song for Rotterdam is going to be “Growing Up Is Getting Old”.

In the past weeks, Victoria released six new singles, all of which were her potential Eurovision entries – “Dive Into Unknown”, “Growing Up Is Getting Old”, “Imaginary Friend”, “Phantom Pain”, “The Funeral Song”, and “Ugly Cry”. During today’s concert she made the final decision, and her song in Eurovision 2021 will be “Growing Up Is Getting Old” which she co-wrote with Maya Nalani, Helena Larsson and Oliver Björkvall.

Victoria stated:

It was a very difficult decision. I am glad that BNT, Ligna, and my team are totally united in our the choice. Your feedback about the songs helped us a lot. The opinion of music and television experts from all over Europe helped us as well. Perhaps for me, choosing from my six songs was the hardest. Each of them is very special to me. But when we had to choose between the two songs with the most support from the viewers and the experts – “Imaginary Friend” and “Growing Up Is Getting Old”, I knew which song I would sing with all my heart and soul on stage in Rotterdam.
