Albania to decide about their participation at Junior Eurovision 2021 in June!

According to Eurofestivales, Albanian broadcaster, RTSH will make the final decision about their participation at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in June. RTSH told to Eurofestivales that they are focused on the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 and the decision about their final decision about the participation at the Junior edition of the show will be made in June depending on the situation of the pandemic which was the reason they withdrew from the contest in 2020. Albania made their debut at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with “Kam një këngë vetëm për ju” by Igzidora Gjeta finishing  on last, 12th place. So far they have participated six times (2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019). Their best result so far is fifth place at Junior Eurovision 2015 with “Dambaje” by Mishela Rapo. The countries which confirmed their participation at Junior Eurovision 2021 are GermanyFranceThe NetherlandsRussia, Ireland and Georgia, while Norway and Finland confirmed they won’t be taking part at the show. Below you can check the last appearance of Albania at Junior Eurovision 2019 with the song “Mikja ime fëmijëri” performed by Isea Çili which received 36 points and ended on 17th place.
