Guus Bok releases ‘Open Up’ – an ode to Rotterdam and Eurovision 2021

The first rehearsals for the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest are starting in just over a week in the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam. Guus Bok, a Rotterdam based singer, with the support of the City of Rotterdam, Ahoy Arena, and Rotterdam Festivals has released an ode to his home town and to Eurovision 2021 with the song titled just like the slogan of this year’s Contest – “Open Up”.

The music video for “Open Up” was filmed on the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, and apart from the artist, it features Eurovision fans from all participating countries. Fans appear in the video in the same order the countries have been drawn to perform in the two semi finals, and followed by the Big Five and The Netherlands in the end.

The song was composed by Guus Bok himself, whilst he co-wrote the lyrics with Kirsten Verhagen-van Stenis and Rico Hop. You can listen to the song, and watch the video clip right here:
