Hooverphonic to release their newest album on 7th of May!

Belgian representatives at Eurovision Song Contest 2021 Hooverphonic have released “The Wrong Place” on 4th of March. The song was written by the band’s bassist Alex Callier and Charlotte Foret, Alex was also the one who produced it. At the end of March they had the first live performance of the at Muziekcafé you can check more about it HERE. They have recently announced the release date of their new album. “Hidden Stories” is set to be released on 7th of May. You can pre-order it HERE!

The album will feature “only” 10 tracks, as the band explains that’s because the average human attention span isn’t that great anymore so ten songs are enough. They added that due to streaming and radio the songs tend to get shorter and shorter. Which is nothing new, as in the 60’s the situation was the same. About their Eurovision entry Alex Callier said: ‘The Wrong Place’ is the best song for Eurovisionl: lyrically so atypical, with Hooverphonic sounds, there is darkness and humor. I never follow the beaten track, that’s my problem. ”
