King Willem-Alexander visited Rotterdam Ahoy!
A month before the final of Eurovision Song Contest 2021 which will be taking place at Rotterdam Ahoy and in the day when the construction of the podium has been completed, the venue got a special visit by the king himself. This morning, the King Willem-Alexander paid a visit to Rotterdam Ahoy.

The king was given a tour by the director of Ahoy, Jolanda Jansen and executive producer of Eurovision 2021, Sietse Bakker. During the visit, his excellency stated that the royal family were looking forward to be watching the show and that they can be very proud adding that it is very impressive to see everything come together. The King met the stage designer Florian Wieder and some of the 600 volunteers.

Stand-in Rehearsals for this year’s show are expected to commence on 29th of April. Rehearsals with all of the participants are set to start from the 8th of May.
Semi-finals of Eurovision Song Contest 2021 are set to take place on 18th and 20th and May while the Grand Finale is set for 22nd of May. A total of 39 countries are going to compete for a chance to become the next winner of the show. You can check the recap of all competing entries below
