Some more news regarding the Dutch hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has just come out and this time it’s about the hosts of the press conferences and the new online hosts!

From left to right you see on the picture above this article: Rutger Vink, Hila Noorzai, Samya Hafsaoui and Koos van Plateringen.

Rutger Vink is a famous YouTuber in The Netherlands. Under the alias of ”Furtjuh”  he has a YouTube account with over 800.000 subscribers. Since 2012, every year, you can see him react to the Eurovision songs of that particular edition, but, as he himself says: always with respect!

Hila Noorzai started out as radio DJ at QMusic but made the move to television in 2020, hosting the news programme EenVandaag every day. She says that, despite making that transition to TV, she did not leave her love for music in the radio studio at all! That’s why she’s so excited to be working on the Eurovision Song Contest this year!

Samya Hafsaoui is a versatile woman, being a programme maker, journalist and writer. She’s used to talking to big names in the music industry, as she has interviewed global stars as Lizzo and Billie Eilish already! She feels like all those hours of getting exposed to the English language, writing, listening to music and watching Eurovision now come together. When she, as she calls it, can work at the ”Champions League of music journalism”!

Koos van Plateringen is a TV host and programme maker who hasn’t missed a Eurovision edition since 2009, being there every single time as a journalist, bringing the contest national attention on Dutch television. It’s a dream come true for him to be part of Eurovision now, we’re gonna make it an unforgettable one, he promises!

Koos will host the press conferences on-site as well as the News Updates for the Online Press Centre, together with Hila and Samya, who will also take on the role of Online Host for the Dutch Eurovision channels. Rutger will also be an Online Host this year, the three of them taking over from NikkieTutorials who is one of four hosts of the main shows this year!
