Hurricane receive a huge backlash on Twitter in Serbia!

People in Serbia, as well as in many other countries around the world celebrate Orthodox Easter today. For this particular reason, the three girls of Hurricane were special guests in last night’s talk show on Serbia’s TV Pink – “Magazin In”, hosted by a very popular host Sanja Marinković. Unfortunately, people all over Serbia went on Twitter to criticise the girls for appearing in this TV show, due to the fact that the other guest was a Serbian politician Dragan Marković Palma, who is involved in a series of sexual assault of minors.

As Nova.rs reports, Dragan Marković Palma has been accused for sexual assault and pimping of underage girls, all of which was happening in a hotel in his home town. Various witnesses have testified against him, and since this happened, due to the big influence Mr. Marković has, he has been going around all national TV stations to promote his family-beliefs and try and gain the trust of the people. He is also known as a very homophobic politician, who made a scandal in the streets Vienna last year, and refused to walk across the road where the traffic light was showing two men holding hands.

Unfortunately, Twitter users in Serbia were not holding back when it comes to Hurricane either, and questioned their morals for appearing in the same show, sharing food and having laughs together with the politician in question. Whilst some people tweeted about Hurricane that “people are similar to the ones they are accompanied by and hang out with”, another Twitter user, @SmiljanBanjac tweeted the following:

1. You should not appear as a guest in that TV show, if you are at least a little bit normal and have some morals

2. If you already do that and see the disgusting Cro-Magnon – you leave the set

3. If you stay and pretend everything is OK, you are a moral j*rk

4. Sanja Marinković is an unsung b**tard. What is further unclear?

Hurricane are set to represent Serbia in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, with their song “Loco Loco”. The first rehearsals are starting next Saturday, and the three girls are set to perform in the second semi final, on the 20th of May. Give a listen to their Eurovision entry right here:
