This is ESCBubble’s winner of Eurovision 2021!

The first rehearsals of the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest started this morning in the Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam. Prior to the rehearsals, we wanted to find our own winner of this year’s Contest, and in order to do that, we combined the votes of our 16 reviewers from our “The Public Reacts” series, with the votes of 16 of our editors have (who all voted in a Eurovision style), as well as the votes of our readers, from the poll that was open during this week. These three votes combined gave us the best song of 2021.

As you already knew from the Public Reaction videos, the favorite of our reviewers was France, ahead of Israel in second and Iceland in third place.

As we had 16 reviewers, to equalize the number, 16 of our editors voted as well – Olivier, Cain, Anne, Ervin, Sebastian, Jan, Kyle, Nikola, Spyros, David, Fouad, Andreas, Marco, Matt, Péter and Joe. They all voted in Eurovision style, giving out a total of 928 points. Our readers had a chance to vote for up to five songs of the 26 finalists in our poll that was open during this week, and their votes are given out based on the percentage each song received, and the total pool of votes is the same as with our team members – 928.
