Ukraine confirmed to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022!

And it’s not just happy news from Sweden, another country with yellow-blue flag colours will be joining the parade next year: broadcaster UA:PBC have confirmed to our colleagues from ESCToday that Ukraine will be seen at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 as well!

How the entrant and the song will be chosen has not been revealed yet, they might well be using their pre-selection Vidbir again.
In 2020 the electro-folk band Go_A had won Vidbir with ‘Solovey’ and when the Eurovision edition of that year unfortunately got cancelled, UA:PBC decided to select them internally for the year after!
They gave the world ‘Shum’ and the world loved it! In Rotterdam the band scored as high as 5th, giving Ukraine their first top 5-placing in five years!

Let’s go wild to ‘Shum’ again:

Who do you hope to see for Ukraine next year?
