Ray Caruana Announced For EuroStarz

This week we have plenty of exciting announcements to reveal all the details surrounding EuroStarz — a fan-led event which offers a chance for fans to get up close with some Eurovision stars past and present at an intimate gig. The event will be taking place on Saturday 14th August next month and tickets will be going on sale this Saturday so make sure to grab yours!

We’ll be revealing another performer each morning this week, and for today we have the wonderful Ray Caruana of band Live Report

Ray Caruana represented the United Kingdom in Lausanne at the 1989 Eurovision Song Contest, as part of his band Live Report. After winning UK national selection ‘A Song For Europe’  with over double the votes of second place, “Why Do I Always Get It Wrong?” went on to finish second to Yugoslavia at the song contest. He later tried to perform for Malta in 1994 however placed second in their selection show with “Scarlet Song”.
