Third song of Junior Songfestival 2021 has been released!

A couple of weeks ago the finalists of the Dutch national selection for Junior Eurovision 2021 – Junior Songfestival 2021 have been revealed. After that news we also got a chance to hear which four acts are going to compete in the final to get a chance to represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision the artists are divided in a quintet, trio and two solo acts. We had a chance to hear the snippets of the songs and the date of the final has been revealed to be the 25th of September. The two entries have been released in the previous weeks and today the third of the four songs is out. Priscilla is singing the song “Be Alright” which has beenwritten and composed by Willem Laseroms and Jermain van der Bogt who are the same authors behind the Dutch entry at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019, “Dans Met Jou” by Matheu. The act which is yet to have their song revealed is a trio which consists of Jade, Loïs and Lyova. The two songs which have been released so far are another solo artist Ayana whose song “Mata Sugu Aō Ne” an entry in Dutch, English and Japanese lyrics and in case it gets selected we will be hearing Japanese for the second time at the stage of Junior Eurovision Song Contest given the fact that back in 2006 Serbian entry “Učimo strane jezike” had a phrase in Japanese.  The second entry which was released last week was “Niet Wat Vrienden Doen” by MELODY – the quintet which consists of Angelina, Ceder, Faye, Mirre and Soline.

The countries which confirmed their participation at Junior Eurovision 2021 so far are UkraineGermanyFranceThe NetherlandsRussia, Ireland ,Georgia. Poland and Portugal who has also selected their entrant for the contest.Albania is expected to make their decision by the end of this month while broadcasters from San MarinoSlovakiaMoldovaAustriaEstoniaLatviaDenmarkIceland, Bulgaria, Norway, Finland, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, WalesCzech Republic as well as Belgian broadcasters VRT and RTBF confirmed they won’t be taking part at the show. The contest will take place on 19th of December in Paris .
