Finnish Eurovision star Krista Siegfrids will take part in a popular TV-show Dancing with the Stars in her home country. The participants of the show were announced earlier today, and Siegfrids also announced the news in her Instagram account:
Dancing with the Stars is a popular TV-format in many countries. In the show celebrities learn how to dance different kind of dances with their dance partner, who is a professional dancer. Their performances are judged by professional judges, and also public can vote for their favorites. In Finland, the upcoming season is the 14th season of the show. Some of the former winners of Finland’s Dancing with the Stars may be familiar to the Eurovision fans: Antti Tuisku, a Finnish pop star and UMK 2021 -host won the contest in 2010, and Christoffer Strandberg, a Finnish actor and UMK 2018 and 2019 co-host won the contest in 2019:
Krista Siegfrids is one of the most famous Finnish Eurovision personalities. She represented Finland in Eurovision 2013 with her song Marry me, and after that she has done a lot in the field of Eurovision: She took part in Sweden’s Melodifestivalen in 2016 and 2017, was one of the Finnish commentators in Eurovision 2019 and of course hosted the Finnish national selection for Eurovision, Uuden musiikin kilpailu (UMK) in 2016-2020. This spring Siegfrids had her own Eurovision show Krista Calling during Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam.
