Dates of Eurovision 2022 in Turin revealed!

As we reported earlier this morning, the Italian national broadcaster RAI and the EBU have made a decision that next year’s Eurovision Song Contest is going to be held in Turin. The EBU has now confirmed the news officially, and has also revealed the dates of next year’s Contest.

The two semi finals of the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest are going to take place on the 10th and the 12th of May, whilst the Grand Final is set to take place on the 14th of May. All three shows are going to be hosted live from the PalaOlimpico in Turin.

The Executive Supervisor of Eurovision Song Contest Mr. Martin Osterdahl stated:

Turin is the perfect Host City for the 66th Eurovision Song Contest.

As we saw during the 2006 Winter Olympics, PalaOlimpico exceeds all the requirements needed to stage a global event of this scale and we have been very impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment from the City of Turin who will welcome thousands of fans next May.

This will be the first Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Italy in 30 years and, together with our Host broadcaster Rai, we are determined to make it a special one.
