Fyr Og Flamme, who represented Denmark in this year’s contest in Rotterdam have continued to go from strength to strength in their native Denmark. Following the success of their recent tour and their number 1 debut album, the pop duo have announced a further tour for the Spring of 2022.
The tour will commence on 7th April in the town of Struer in Midtjylland, and will run for 18 shows covering the whole of Denmark before reaching its final destination in the capital Copenhagen on 28th May.
Fyr Og Flamme failed to progress to the grand final in Rotterdam, finishing in 11th place in the second semi-final with their hit ‘Øve Os På Hinanden’. But despite this they have gained a huge following in Denmark and internationally.
Whilst the duo have not commented publicly about a desire to return to the contest, it will not escape the notice of eurofans that this schedule features a three week gap from 30th April to 20th May. If they were to choose to return they would of course have to go through the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix as the national final returns to select next year’s representatives.
We caught up with Jesper and Laurits during their rehearsals in Rotterdam, and you can watch our interview right here:
