Ike & Kaya to perform “My Home” for Malta at Junior Eurovision 2021

Ike & Kaya have just won MJESC and will represent Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021! They will perform the song “My Home” on December 19 at La Seine Musicale in Paris.

From an open call for songs and artists, a professional jury panel selected 12 candidates for the national final which has taken place today:

  1. Emma Briffa – My Angel’s Calling
  2. Kylie Micallef – Keep Your Drama
  3. Maria Curmi – Wild and Free
  4. Yulan Law – Change
  5. Eksenia Sammut – Building
  6. Amelia Kalabic – Dear World
  7. Rih & Bri – Drops like fire
  8. Ella Raina – Limitless
  9. Ike & Kaya – My Home
  10. Yulan Law – On My Way
  11. Marija Djinovic – Magic
  12. Myca, Kylie & Denzel Jo – Running Free

A three members professional jury panel that featured Destiny (JESC 2015 winner – Eurovision 2021), and the public via SMS decided the winner of the Maltese national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest during a live show which was broadcast from the Robert Sammut Hall in Floriana. Elaine Saliba Bonnici was the host of the show, that featured all 12 performances of the finalists and a 20-minute voting time.

After the voting has ended, the host announced that Yulan Law finished in third place with “On My Way”, second place was for Myca, Kylie & Denzel Jo with “Running Free”, whilst the winners were Ike & Kaya with “My Home”. Give the winning song a listen right here:
