The first episode of X Factor Israel will air on 30th of October while the final is set to take place in January, when the finalists are expected to perform a song which could represent Israel at Eurovision 2022. The judges of the show include the winner of Eurovision Song Contest 2018 Netta together with Israeli rock musician, singer, songwriter and record producer, Aviv Geffen, Israeli singer and television personality, Margalit Tzan’ani, actor, model and singer, Ran Danker as well as singer and actress Miri Mesika.

The second semi-final will feature performances of each of the contestant who advanced to the last stage of the competition – the final four. They will be performing two original songs selected by the special jury which got a chance to listen to all of the submitted songs. Further on one song of each artists will qualify to the final round where each singer will be performing the entry which got them qualified to the final for a chance to become the next act and representative of Israel at Eurovision Song Contest. The final will be broadcast on Channel 13 where this Saturday, 30th of October at 20:30 CET the first episode of X Factor Israel airs.

It is also good to note that the last winner of X Factor Israel was also the one who won HaKokhav HaBa in 2020 and got a chance to represent the country at Eurovision this year, Eden Alene. She set the record for performing the highest note at the Eurovision Song Contest – B6 so called whistle tone. Israel finished on 18th place with 93 points.
