The slogan of Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 is “Imagine” and also the common song which will be performed by all of the participants from 19 countries carries the same name. All proceeds from the song will be donated to UNICEF.
This tradition has been introduced at Junior Eurovision 2013 with the song “Be Creative” which all of the competing artists performed as the interval act. Back in 2007 and 2010 there were performances of the commissioned UNICEF songs “One World” and “A Day Without War” while at Junior Eurovision 2012 the proceeds of the song “We Can Be Heroes” went to the Dutch children’s charity KidsRights Foundation.
The songwriters of “Imagine” are Anton Wick, Julien Comblat and Mod Martin who is also the singer of the released version which you can listen to on Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, or YouTube below.
