Elisabetta Lizza to wave the Italian flag at Junior Eurovision 2021!
RAI has revealed Elisabetta Lizza will represent Italy at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The young performer, who has been selected internally by the broadcaster, will sing ‘Specchio (Mirror On The Wall)’ on December 19 at La Seine Musicale in Paris.
Once again, the Italian broadcaster has decided to select their Junior representative internally. This time it will be a girl from Ardo, a small town of Brescia, who has experience in the musical world as a pianist and, of course, as a singer, having performed in musicals and local competitions.
Italy made its debut in Junior Eurovision back in 2014, when they won the competition for the first time with Vincenzo Cantiello. They have been taking part ever since then and have only missed the last year’s edition because of the exceptional circumstances. In 2019, the sweet Marta Viola was the Italian performer in Gliwice and achieved 7th place.
The Italian song for Paris will be released in due course, stay tuned!
