Engelbert Humperdinck cancels UK tour after falling ill

Engelbert Humperdinck has cancelled the rest of his UK tour after falling ill.

Engelbert confirmed in a statement today that he was going to have to pull out of his remaining fourteen gigs after being diagnosed with a bronchial infection.

In a statement, Engelbert said:

“I am so upset in having to relate to you that we have to cancel our UK tour. I have come down with a viral bronchial infection and am being treated for it now. This has never happened before and I so much wanted to see all of you in the 14 cities. We are going to reschedule the shows for early next year.

Engelbert has had a tough year this year, with his wife passing away of Covid in September. Engelbert also tested positive for Covid in January this year.
Concerns were raised for Engelbert when he failed to make his concert in Manchester and remained in a hotel in Newcastle.
