Greece has shortlisted the 5 potential candidates for Eurovision 2022!

The ERT has revealed the names of the 5 shortlisted artists which will have a chance to represent Greece at Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Total of 25 artists submitted around 40 songs to ERT. In an afternoon show with Nancy Zampetoglou and Thanasis Anagnostopoulos from Studio 4 of ERT 1, the names of the 5 artists shortlisted by the special committee have been revealed.

Out of the selected artists only Ilias Kozas has previous experience at Eurovision given the fact that he represented Greece back in 2013 as part of Koza Mostra feat. Agathon Iakovidis with “Alcohol is Free“. It is expected that from the next week all selected artists will be having meetings with the special ERT committee to work on their proposals and make a final decision about the artist and the act which will represent Greece at Eurovision 2022 in Turin.

At Eurovision 2021 Greece has returned back to top 10 with Stefania’s “Last Dance” which ended the show on 10th place with 170 points. You can watch her performance below
