Listen to “Let’s Count The Smiles” by Nikoloz Kajaia!

Last night it has been revealed that the winner of Georgian music show, Ranina is Nikoloz Kajaia and he will be the one to wave the Georgian flag at La Seine Musicale in Paris on 19th of December.

This was the fourth time Ranina was used to select the Georgian entrant for Junior Eurovision. Georgia marks their 15th appearance at the show and it’s the third time they sent a male soloist to the contest. So far they have won the it three times and ended as runner up on two occasions. Since the introduction of Ranina as their selection method for the artist at JESC in 2018, their best result was last years 6th place with “You are not alone” performed by Sandra Gadelia.

The song “Let’s Count The Smiles” was written and composed by Giga Kukhiandze, who is the author of Georgian entries in the contest from 2007 to 2017 as well as their last years song. Listen to it below
