Listen to the Portuguese entry “O Rapaz” by Simão Oliveira!
In April, Portuguese broadcaster, RTP has revealed that their representative at Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be the winner of The Voice Kids Portugal, Simão Oliveira.
Today we’ve finally got a chance to hear Simão’s entry for Junior Eurovision which he will be performing at the stage of La Seine Musicale on 19th of December, the title of it is “O Rapaz” which translates to – The Boy and the composers behind it are Fernando Daniel and Diogo Clemente. Simão Oliveira is 14 years old boy, from Arouca, near Porto. He began singing at the age of 4 when he fell in love with fado. Simão plays clarinet in the local youth band and is the first member of his family which pursues his career in music industry. You can watch the official music video of “O Rapaz” below
Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 is going to take place on 19th of December at La Seine Musicale with the total of 19 competing countries:
