Press accreditation for Junior Eurovision 2021 opens

Today, the EBU has revealed details about the press attending the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021. This year, there will be journalists present at the venue, which means an online press center won’t be available. The press accreditation has been open.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 will take place on December 19th at La Seine Musicale in Paris. Unlike last year, all the delegations will be able to travel to the host city under normal circumstances. So, there won’t be pre-recorded performances. Also, the press will be able to report about the event from Press Center in the venue, which will be open for four days, from December 16th to 19th.

The accreditation process will be open from today until December 17th. That means the press can wait until the last two days to decide whether they want to travel to Paris to cover the show. The accredited press will be able to attend the press center, rehearsals and press conferences, but not the Welcome Party. All members of the press must be subject to the strict health and safety protocol that has been published on the official website of Junior Eurovision.

19 countries will compete at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 which is set to take place on December 19th at 16.00 CET:
