Romania to select their entry for Eurovision 2022 in “Selectia Nationala”!

After their first ever internal selection, Romania’s national broadcaster TVR is going back to organizing Selectia Nationala, in order to find their entry for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Turin next May.

TVR will once again organize their traditional “Selectia Nationala”, in order to find the Romanian entry for Turin. The application period is going to start on the 26th of November, and entries will be accepted all the way until the 10th of December. The full rules are going to be announced in the coming days.

Roxen was internally selected to represent her country in 2020, whilst her song “Alcohol You” was selected in a national selection. After the cancellation of the Contest, TVR announced that Roxen will be representing Romania in 2021 as well, but this time her song “Amnesia” was selected internally as well. Roxen unfortunately failed to qualify for the Grand Final in Rotterdam.
