Elis Mraz: ‘Imma Be is a statement of mine’

The Czech national selection ESCZ is well underway, and a total of seven acts are competing to become Benny Cristo’s successor, and represent the Czech Republic at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. The only artist returning to the Contest, having previously participated in 2020 and finishing just behind Benny Cristo, is Elis Mraz, and she is hoping to represent her country in Italy with the song “Imma Be”.

We had a great pleasure to chat with Elis about her comeback, her video clip which was shot in Dubai, why she loves Eurovision as much as she does, and a lot more! Check out all of that and more in this interview right here:

Fans from all over the world are welcome to vote in the Czech national selection either via the official Eurovision app, or at escz2022.com, and your vote will count in the official result.
