On the 29th of October, the window for sending in songs to DR for next year’s edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, Denmark’s traditional national selection for Eurovision, has closed. The preselection jury then had to select the best eight songs to go on to compete in the televised show, which will take place on the 5th of March, where the successor of Fyr og Flamme is going to be selected. But earlier today, Fyr og Flamme confirmed that they are set to perform in next year’s show!

Fyr og Flamme announced that they are all set to perform in the 2022 edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. They haven’t fully clarified whether they will be one of the contestants, or as part of the interval act, however, as we reported earlier, they have a perfectly fitting gap in their touring calendar during the Eurovision period.
