Giudi: ‘I wanted to take a risk and bring an a cappella song’

The Czech national selection ESCZ is well underway, and a total of seven acts are competing to become Benny Cristo’s successor, and represent the Czech Republic at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. Giudi is entering this competition for the very first time this year, and she is hoping to represent her country in Italy with the song “Jezinky”.

We had a great pleasure to chat with Giudi, and ask her about her career so far, the importance of Jezinky and the creation of the song, as well as which version of the song she would like to take to Turin, in case of winning ESCZ. Check out all of that and more in this interview right here:

Fans from all over the world are welcome to vote in the Czech national selection either via the official Eurovision app, or at escz2022.com, and your vote will count in the official result.

You can also let us know who your favorite is by voting in our poll below (this vote will not count in the official result of ESCZ, but will help us find ESCBubble’s winner of this national selection):
