Jordan Haj & Emma Smetana: We actually wanted to send a different song, called ‘Dopamine’
The Czech national selection ESCZ is well underway, and a total of seven acts are competing to become Benny Cristo’s successor, and represent the Czech Republic at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. The only duet in the competition is by Jordan Haj and Emma Smetana, and they are hoping to represent their country in Italy with the song “By Now”.
We had a great pleasure to chat with Jordan and Emma, and meet their youngest daughter Ariel. We spoke to the couple about their entry in ESCZ, their views on the competition, on Eurovision, future projects, and Jordan also told us about his experience from Tel Aviv and his involvement with Lake Malawi at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
