Meet the seven finalists of the Czech national selection for Eurovision 2022, and vote for YOUR favorite!

The Czech national broadcaster just held a special press conference, where the seven finalists of the Czech national selection – ESCZ 2022 were announced! Out of the seven finalists, six are taking part for the first time, and only Elis Mraz is coming back to the Contest after previously finishing in 2nd place in 2020.

The seven finalists of ESCZ 2022 are as follows:

  1. We Are Domi – Lights Off
  2. Giudi – Jezinky
  3. Annabelle – Runnin’ Out Of Fu**ing Time
  4. Elis Mraz – Imma Be
  5. The Valentines – Stay Or Go
  6. Jordan Haj x Emma Smetana – By Now
  7. Skywalker – Way Down

All seven acts have filmed their “live-on-tape” performances, which will be released tomorrow, when the national final voting is going to start as well. International fans will have a 25% say in the final result, the Czech audience another 25%, whilst the jury will have a 50% say in who is going to be representing the Czech Republic in Eurovision 2022 in Turin. The voting will be closed on the 15th of December, whilst results will be revealed on the 16th.

The previous edition of ESCZ in 2020 was won by Benny Cristo with “Kemama”, and he was internally selected to represent his country again this year, after the cancellation of last year’s Contest. He performed the song “Omaga” in Rotterdam, and unfortunately failed to qualify for the Grand Final.
