The first evening of Festivali i Kenges has just ended. The 20 artists – 14 experienced and 6 newcomers have presented their entries, and a jury panel has selected three of the six newcomers to proceed to the Final.
The three newcomers that qualified for the Final night are Eldis Arrnjeti, Ester Zahiri, and Olimpia Smajlaj.
That means that the full line-up of the final is as follows:

Kastro Zizo is my favourite by far, but I’d hate to see him go on and be in Eurovision though– if only because I’m afraid that people would see his artistry as something closer to a joke type of entry.
I genuinely adore his talent, and while this is the first time I’m watching this festival, I honestly find his song to be so oddly refreshing. It’s become my #1 go-to song to listen to.
