These are the 22 semi finalists of Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2022!

TVM is bringing back Malta Eurovision Song Contest as the country’s selection method for 2022. The Contest will take place in February next year, and will be done in two stages – a semi final with 22 songs where 6 songs will be eliminated, followed by a 16-song Grand Final.

TVM has just announced the names and songtitles of all 22 competing acts, and they are as follows:

  • Nicole Hammett – A Lover’s Heart
  • Jessica Grech – Aphrodisiac
  • Janice Mangion – Army
  • Denise Merciera – Boy
  • Matt BLXCK – Come Around
  • Baklava ft. Nicole – Electric Indigo
  • Sarah Bonnici – Heaven
  • Richard Micallef – Hey Little
  • Norbert Bondin – How Special You Are
  • Derrick Schembri – II
  • Nicole Azzopardi – Into The Fire
  • Jessica Muscat – Kaleidoscope
  • Miriana Conte – Look What You’ve Done Now
  • Emma Muscat – Out Of Sight
  • Raquel Galdes Briffa – Over You
  • Jade Vella – Revelación
  • Francesca Sciberras – Rise
  • Aidan Cassar – Ritmu
  • Mark Antony Bartolo – Serenity
  • Enya Magri – Shame
  • Malcolm Pisani – We Came For Love
  • Rachell Lowell – White Doves

There are lots of familiar names returning to the Contest, but only two of them with previous Eurovision experience – Jessica Muscat, who represented San Marino in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, and Richard Micallef who was part of Firelight who represented Malta in Eurovision 2014 in Copenhagen.
