Eurovision Young Musicians returns this year!

As Eurofestivales announces, an undisclosed source revealed them that Eurovision Young Musicians will be back this year.

The contest is held every second year and the last edition of it was held back in August of 2018 at Usher Hall in Edinburgh and was won by Ivan Bessonov from Russia. The next edition of the show was planned for 17th and 20th of June 2020 at the Bers Hall of the Zagreb Academy of Music, and the final of the show was expected to be held at King Tomislav Square in Zagreb but the pandemic cancelled the show. The countries which should’ve taken part were: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Malta, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Sweden and Ukraine.

The Eurovision Song Contest for Young Musicians is a biennial classical music competition for young people organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). It has been held since 1982, when the first edition was held in the city of Manchester (United Kingdom). Since then it has been held continuously. until the 2020 edition.

EBU is yet to confirm those information. As previously mentioned last winner was Ivan Bessonov and you can watch his performance below
