Here are the 10 acts competing to represent Poland!
While the Polish broadcaster TVP initially announced that their Eurovision representative would be internally selected and revealed on January 2nd 2022, there have been several changes in dates and even rumors of a National Final.
It turns out that these rumors seem to be true! Poland is indeed going for a National Final, which will take place on the 19th of February. The Polish entry for Eurovision 2022 will be selected in a mix of jury votes (the jury will be the same as the one selecting these 10 songs, and only one jury member works for TVP), and televotes. Here are the 10 participants, that compete to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin:

– Karolina Stanisławczyk & Chica Toro “Move”
– Emilia Dębska (Mila) “All I need”
– Daria “Paranoia”
– Krystian Ochman “River”
– Lidia Kopania “Why Does It Hurt”
– Kuba Szmajkowski “Lovesick”
– Karolina Lizer “Czysta woda”
– Siostry Szlachta “Drogowskazy”
– Ania Byrcyn “Dokąd”
Do any of these names sound familiar to you? Here are some further details on a few of the artists! First, let’s look at the artist, that already have a connection to Eurovision.
Lidia Kopania already represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with “I Don’t Wanna Leave”, where she finished in 12th place at the second semi-final and therefore sadly missed out on the final.
Emilia Dębska participated at the Slovenian national selection EMA in 2018 as MILA with the song “Svoboda”
Siostry Szlachta is a duo of the two sisters Julia & Wiktoria, who participated at the Polish National Final in 2020. They were eliminated in the first semi-final, in which each of the participants had to sing an ABBA song.
These are the artists, that were already rumored and among the fan favorites:
Krystian Ochman participated in The Voice of Poland in 2020 and was in the team of Michał Szpak, who represented Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Ochman eventually won The Voice of Poland! You can check out his final performance here:
Daria has already been vocal about her intent to participate at the Eurovision Song Contest, and her song “Paranoia” already has over 9 million views on YouTube.
The last name, that has been rumored for a while, Ania Byrcyn, is also confirmed to participate. And this is her song:
