Israel completes the line-up for the final of X Factor. Songs to be released on Sunday!

Last night the second semi-final of X Factor Israel took place and the line-up of the four artists competing in the final of the show for a chance to represent Israel at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 has been revealed. The semi-final was organised in a form of the duels to determine which artists are advancing in the second round.

1st Duel

  • Michael Ben David – 89 points (Round 2)
  • Sapri Saban – 86 points (Round 2) – Saved

2nd Duel

  • Shachar Adawi – 72 points (Knocked Out)
  • Anna Stefani – 77 points (Round 2)

In the second round, Michael Ben David scored 54 points and was revealed as the third finalist (Eli Huli and Inbal Bibi were announced as the finalists after the first semi-final) The remaining two contestants Sapir Saban and Anna Stefania received 48 points each which lead to a tie and jury made the decision which artists will advance to the final and they went with Sapir Saban.

Each of the four finalists will be getting two songs which we will be able to hear on 30th of January at Reshet 13. On 3rd of February a special show “Our song for Eurovision” will be broadcast on Reshet 13, where the decision of the song with which each of the four finalists will be having a chance to represent Israel at Eurovision will be made. The selection of the four songs will be made by the jury, professional committee and televotes.

The final of X Factor Israel is set to take place on 5th of February. The four finalists will be performing a cover in the first part of the show after those performances one singer will be eliminated. The second part the remaining three finalists will be performing their Eurovision entries. The winner will be decided by audience (50%), jury (25%) and professional committee votes (25%).

Last year Israel has been represented by Eden Alene with “Set Me Free” who ended the show on 17th place, scoring 93 points. You can watch the performance below.
